ABOUT US

The Bexley North Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) is made up of parents, carers and community members who volunteer their time to help support Bexley North Public School.

Our objectives include:

  • supporting the Principal and teachers of Bexley North Public School
  • administering the Before and After Care (BASC) service
  • improving facilities
  • encouraging excellence
  • supporting underprivileged students
  • fundraising to achieve our objectives, and
  • representing the parents and citizens of the BNPS school community.

Bexley North Public School P&C Association is an incorporated, not-for-profit organisation.

What we do

Our P&C holds community and fundraising events, runs the Before and After Care service at Bexley North Public School and holds monthly meetings. For more information, please see Events and Ways to get involved.

We also offer annual student P&C Awards.

These are awarded to students who have been great citizens of the school by demonstrating kindness, respect for others and being all-round fantastic members of the school community, e.g., through:

  • Being a willing participant in activities
  • Being reliable when given extra responsibilities
  • Considering the needs of others and showing respect
  • Caring for the school and the community environment
  • Enthusiasm in reaching their personal potential and goals

There are four stage-based awards and one school award. Teachers nominate the students for the P&C awards, which are presented at the end-of-year assembly.
